I'm a busy bee and I just tear into them like a rabid animal trying to get into a trashbag.

I never succeed in cracking them lol so I just unroll them

…do…do people unroll them? At every place I’ve ever worked at, I hit them against the counter and snap them in half

Whenever I crack it it doesn't go all the way and the coins get stuck and then I'm standing there like an idiot trying to get the coins out cause its bent to fuck and they wont slide out and I probably whacked a knuckle in the process and now my finger is numb and not working and the customer stands there with that degrading stare wondering how fucking difficult it is to open a damn roll of coins.

So much faster to peel the ends real quick and slide that whole sucker in the cup.

Idk what I do but there's some slight trauma at this point lmao. I also did it right once but the coins went flying all over the place, so not that right 🤦‍♀️

I used to crack them & then one day coins exploded all over the floor. soooo long story short, a lesson was learned that day. now I tear the seam and unroll them. u will never catch me picking up so many coins EVER again lol

If it's slow, I might unwrap em just to have something to fidget with but I usually crack em. Much faster, and if you do it right all you need to do is shove your thumb in the hole to push the last few coins out

If you aren’t the type to simply unroll them, that’s fine, but if you leave the broken halves in the drawer still full of coins, there’s something wrong with you (mostly kidding, it’s not that serious, lol). If you get all your coins out and throw the sleeve away so that I’m not doing it for you at the end of the day, then the way it’s done is indifferent to me.

After working with cash for a long time, I find that unrolling the coins is the most efficient method that works for me. Neat and quick, once you have a technique down. Cracking them can be satisfying for some though.

I make a couple small tears at one end, and then I push the rolled coins out with my thumb from the opposite end.

I unroll mine cracking them seems very aggressive to me 😂

The rolls from the bank, I rip home. We use the rolls we roll from buying the change from the top jar. The coins don't fit snug in them so I just open the top and pour them into the little cash bucket.

I used to crack them open, but years of dealing with money I've realized its actually much quicker, and easier, to peel and unroll them. All the coins will naturally fall out that way without getting everywhere, or having to push them out on one end.

I once unrolled quarters, then had the next two cars in my dt pay with quarters. So I rolled them back up and taped them back up 😂. That cemented the habit and I only unroll now. It's been years and it never happened again, but i still do it.
