For context, I don’t mind that he asked for four cubes of ice. Honestly it was a bit perplexing but nothing terrible.
It was the moment I told him, “alright so super light ice, four cubes!” In a semi joking way and he got serious.
“Four cubes. No more. No less.”
Okay. Fine. Cool.
I’m on bar and DT. So I make his drink. Take it to him. Im watching him COUNT THE CUBES.
And then he starts talking.
“Ah yeah don’t get too jealous I get to sleep in on Sunday, super tired now though so I needed my coffee.”
“Ah, me too! I can’t wait to get off.”
“I work harder than you.”
Ex-fucking-scuse me? You work harder than me? What? Even prompted that???
“Sir I have three jobs.”
He then tried to say how much he works owning a company and how I’m lazy and shit. And he wouldn’t stop. And I wanted to throw in my apron.

I WAS WORKING AT ANOTHER JOB AND I WAS TAKING THIS GIRLS ORDER AND SHE KEPT TRYING TO ONE UP ME SAYING SHE WAS SOO MUCH MORE TIRED THAN I AM BECAUSE SHE WORKED BOTH HER JOBS TODAY AND I WAS LIKE BRUH CHILL

I work two jobs and one of my co workers came in and said “you must be desperate for money” under her breath! Like I am at a younger age where my parents do pay for things but they don’t really want to admit we don’t have the most amount of money and I like to try and help out like sbux give the free mark outs and my other job gives me discounts on food and I am making money to pay for my own college so they don’t have to take out a loan. It really hurt tho to hear that. I mean we’re on food stamps and all but we’re getting by

There should be a surcharge if you ask for a specific number of ice cubes. Normal, good human beings don't ask for ice cubes by number.

There are the few nice customers, let them stand out to you more. I spoke with a girl for 10 mins in DT (we were close to close, no one else in line or in store) and just laughed with her. I have a regular who I draw on her cup and she always says hi and asks how I’m doing, even if she’s sad. There was a kid who was in awe of my hair and asked if I was a fairy. Let the good ones in your brain. Don’t let shitty customers ruin everything!

I had someone in DT ask for 1 ice cube lmaoooo and this one lady who comes in sometimes gets a refresher (or tea can’t remember i haven’t seen her in awhile) and she asks us to put three or 4 pieces of dragonfruit inclusions on top of the drink
