not criminal dreams but just stressful ones. always right before i work morning shifts which are the worst. i can never hear my alarm if all i’m worrying about is that im 40 mins behind on mobile in my head and im the only one in the store 😩

I literally had a Starbucks nightmare last night…. We were closing and then the alarms started going off because people got in the store. There was around 50+ people inside and outside our store and no one was listening to get out because were closed. Everyone was so mad and telling us to make them drinks. Even after I explained to people that our machines were broken down we can’t make anything they were yelling. Why does Starbucks have to give me stress nightmares all the time :/

We once got someone asking for a matcha tea latte…

After we told her we can’t steam water she told us and I quote: “just make my fucking drink!”

BRO i had a dream like last month, i was in the back room and someone knocked on the door. My coworker told me not to open it, but i opened it immediately. & it was just a homeless man staring at me in the eyes with a knife in his hand pointing it at me😀 then i tried to hit it off his hand but just ended up breaking it in half? lmao.

Have lots of dreams where people are telling me to make things that just sounds gross. I usually half wake up from them like "ah tis but a dream" and then go bck to sleep just to go back to the same dream.

The other night I had one that we had to do whatever the customer wanted, it was a new policy. And these two guys asked me to make soup for them, so I took a bunch of sandwich meat and tea and salt packets and put them in the oatmeal bowl and topped it up with water. They gave me a potato to put into it too. Idk that was kind of weird.

We were really slow the other day and steamed a dragon drink. It tastes like a war crime if anyone was curious

I had a nightmare after I started that directly involved the ovens beeping and an urn that was brewing just brewing onto the floor while I was running the floor solo for some reason 🙃🙃🙃

I would have followed her to see where she threw it out!

My meds make me always have vivid dreams relating to whatever was on my mind/I did that day so pretty much everyday I work and get slightly stressed out I dream about weird scenarios. Too many to count, and it's honestly exhausting to dream abt work the entire night just to go again

Wait we can’t steam the refreshers? I feel stupid asking, but why?

I got Covid and had epic Starbucks dreams. The best two:

Starbucks added fried chicken tenders to the menu. We made them on the Mastrena machines, steaming the oil and then adding the chicken. We were getting burned, customers were getting splattered with hot oil, and it was a very popular item that slowed us down, so we had lines around the store going in concentric circles.

Another time I dreamed there was an Internet rumor that the cure for Covid was “tears tea,” made like a HCMT, but sub the steamed tears of Covid survivors for the hot water. Everyone who had survived Covid had to come in early for their shifts to cry. Our break room was showing “Where the Red Ferm Grows” on a little tv in back and had all kinds of “sad magazines” (hey, in my dream, this was a thing — like porn mags only these magazines were to make you cry). The tears were shed into cubes, then dated and refrigerated, as the Health Dept demands (in my dream).

I started working at Starbucks in early Dec 2021, and hooo boy was I in for an experience. I had to learn fast because I was one of the few who didn’t have Covid in Dec-Jan. Then, after everyone else was doing better, I got Covid in Feb 2022 and had these dreams. I have asthma and autoimmune issues, so when my manager said to come back to work after five days and I was wayyyy too sick to do that, all of my dreams centered around my job at Starbucks. Good times. 😅

I have dreams that my alarm goes off and I get ready for work then I wake up to my actual alarm and hate the world
