No espresso. The US recipe is just milk, ice, and matcha in the shaker. 2/3/4 scoops for tall/grande/venti

I always teach trainees that any powder goes by "Frap Rules" aka 2/3/4, that seems to help them remember usually

Just a tip: if you download the sbux app, it tells you the basic build of drinks when you go to order them! I used this as an at home training tool when I first started!

Canada and the US use different matcha! The US uses a blend that has sugar already mixed in (there’s actually more sugar than matcha) so it’s sweet without adding syrup

Back in the day, like 2008, it used to come with melon syrup. It sounds weird but it just worked. Ever since they got rid of melon I’ve hated the matcha latte… used to be my favorite. I’d have that and a blueberry oat bar. Breakfast of champions.. or baristas lol.

your menu in the US is way better than the canadian one 😭 we have the worst pastries and just recently discontinued a bunch of them. plus all our protein boxes got disconnected as well as our lunch sandwiches. they switched them over to frozen lunch sandwiches and they all suck. we also have absolutely no room for them 😭

i think they did it cuz people never ever seem to realize that sweetener goes in until after they take the first sip are are like "omg wtf why is this sweet???" but yeah i always put that classic syrup back in there because it's delicious
