One hour non-coverage? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Good_Pay_4439
This is potentially a silly question...but I've been a SSV for roughly two months (external hire) and have a 5 hour shift with the first hour being non-coverage. Is that some sort of training?

Or maybe a sit down with the SM to talk about performance? I plan on asking the next time my SM and I are on the clock but also wondered if anyone might already know.

My best guess is a seasonal training module

It could be a truck order you need to put away!

Maybe Tuesday tips or Wednesday department count?

I want to agree with this suggestion because that is magnificent scheduling! It is entirely possible my SM is doing that...but she has never done so before. I'm not particularly anxious, just confused over the breakdown of coverage during my shift. Either way I will find out eventually ^_^

Does your SM write it on the DCR?

Ours writes out what training/task we are supposed to be doing during non cov next to our name.

I get scheduled to put away trucks or place orders as off the floor time or non-coverage
