one time my coworker spilt the Vsc, i helped her mop it up during a rush. then i rushed the mop bucket to the back and SPILT THE MOP BUCKET!! i had to remop the boh too before my shift ended 😭😭

Is your sanitizer bucket sitting on the floor? I don't know about your state's health laws, but mine don't allow that. 🤷

At my first store we hung it on a hook, at my last two store we have kept it on a stand or short stool. It just isn't allowed to be on the floor ever as it's considered unsanitary.

we have another bucket underneath it since it has to be a couple inches off the actual ground but yeah we’re allowed to put it there!

Half the time we don’t have a bucket out or if we do it’s just for show. But yeah it’s on a stand if the health inspector shows up.

To try to make you feel better. One time I was cleaning a mocha container, I didn't realize the grate for the drain was flipped the wrong way. So all the water was spitting out onto the floor.
I looked down and had a river of mocha snaking around my feet.

What state are you in? Where my store is Sanitizer Buckets go on the ground but must be changed every 30mins. We have ECO Lab come to inspect us, never an issue.

Damn, we nearly got a “critical” on our food safety about 2 years back for having ours on the ground. We just flipped a 5 gallon Home Depot bucket upside down and put it on that now.. I’m currently in Colorado, I didn’t think it’d be state to state. That makes sense!

One time I left the mop sink on while I was multitasking. When it hit me that I left it on, the good news was I didn’t have to mop half the back that night . Bad news is we had to put the order away thanks to my wonderful gracefulness. It happens to the best of us :3
