Okay so I’m really stuck as to what to do when it comes to a partner and my managers. A partner at my store hates me cuz I reported her friend that worked with us and this partner has been making my life hell. She consistently misgenders me on purpose despite being trans and bisexual, she’s referred to me as racial slurs to other coworkers, has threaten to beat me up if I ever report her, won’t help me on the floor even when shifts tell her to do something. Furthermore she hates the whole staff. She’s deadnamed and misgendered all the trans partners, spreads rumors about all partners and is overall not liked by anyone on the team except for two shift leads. She’s also racist to ESL customers and when called out on it she cried and tried to get that partner written up. I’m the main target for her crap and my manager is kept up to date on everything yet refuses to take action. Two other trans partners want to report her to corporate but we don’t know: 1. How to do it, 2. What to say, 3: if anything will even be done. My manager also wants to promote this partner and many people have been saying they’re quiting if she does get the position because they don’t trust her. I’m so frustrated idk what to do

For the love of God you need to report this psycho. What she's doing is NOT okay, racism and transphobia are discrimination. Get other people to come forward too. Have everyone write a list of things she's said/done then report this to your manager.

Sounds like u need to go above ur managers head. This behavior is not ok! And it's not what Starbucks stands for. You and your fellow partners have a right to be treated fairly and not to be discriminated against. Do not allow this partner to take that away from you. I'm not sure how it is in your store but in ours being purposely misgendered and bullied is a huge deal and leads to termination. I hope things get better for u and your partners. No one should have to deal w that.

My manager has been updated on everything t happening to me and the other two trans partners and we are all told “be the bigger person and don’t let the gossip get to us”

If that's true then you definitely need to go above your SMs head and either reach out to your DM and or prsc

I second this. Go to the DM. They may resolve the issue. If not, at least they won’t feel sideswiped once Corporate gets involved.
