Its honestly pretty overwhelming at first, but don’t be afraid to ask questions! At the end of the day, they went through training too and they know that its a lot that you have to learn!

Congratulations!! Being completely honest, I love this job and I have since the beginning. (That’s not to say there aren’t days that I hate it and want to cry but that’s life). They (THANKFULLY) just revised the training to add extra hours of practice. But even so, reiterating what everyone else said, the job is very overwhelming at first; you get a lot of information thrown at you in a very small period of time and expected to have it stick.
Don’t stress. Always ask questions, even if you think they are dumb, because I PROMISE you are not the first to ask. Everyone went through the same adjustment period as you so they will understand and WANT to help.
Eventually you’ll get to a point where it all clicks and you can’t believe you never knew how to do everything. It’s all muscle memory. I’ve been a partner for almost 2 years now and I still enjoy it.
I wish you luck! Just keep pushing through. It’s not hard, it’s just a lot at once. It’s a steep learning curve but with patience and practice you’ll get it I promise.
