What exactly is a “skinny” drink? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Greenie here, how on earth do we make a skinny latte? Does that mean it’s a milk supplement?
Also, when making foam, like, for ex. Vanilla sweet cream cold foam, are we pouring half and half into the foaming blender w the vanilla syrup or? Cause there’s also the sweet cream we make that’s in the containers w the green top. 😭

1. “Skinny” means nonfat milk and SF vanilla
2. Vanilla sweet cream cold foam is pouring the sweet cream, you mentioned, into the Cold foam blender up until 150ml line and blending on the number 3 of your blender

Back in the day we used to also have a sf caramel, sf mocha (which was extra awful), and a sf cinnamon dolce, but they got rid of those awhile ago.

Vanilla sweet cream foam: sweet cream to the 100ml
Salted caramel foam: sweet cream + 2 half pumps of caramel and two salt packets
Chocolate cream foam: sweet cream + 2 level scoops of malt powder
Cold foam: nonfat milk + 2 full pumps of vanilla
Skinny: nonfat milk and sf vanilla, but clarify with the customer (used to be menu phrasing, now has been taken away). So if someone orders an iced skinny chai, I repeat back “so an iced chai with nonfat milk, what else today” or skinny vanilla latte “one sugar free vanilla latte with nonfat milk” so this way if they’re expecting something else we can clear it up

at our store we use the orange tops because the asm liked it better 😂
