charging for cups of just whip? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by cinnamondolcie
we have an older woman who comes everyday and orders a tall cup of just whip (yes she eats it with a spoon) and someone told me once that we have to charge it as a cold milk bc we aren't supposed to 'sell ingredients'. is that right? i mean, $3 for a cup of whip is wild but she constantly screams at us at the window or over the phone about absolutely anything just so she can get free drinks all the time, so i think she can afford it.

(why she doesn't just go to the store and buy a can of whipped cream for herself, i don't know. she scares me so i will Not ask)

me when a scary old lady wants a tall cup of whip: no ma'am

me when a girl asked for a pup cup as a tall bc her dog has a fat nose: absolutely he can have anything he wants i would die for him in fact

Me when she asked for a small pup cup in an oatmeal bowl so it’s not messy: hell yeah your puppy was very nice and looked like he was on his best behaviour he gets extra

Because a can of whipped cream cost money and that bitch doesn’t sound like she wanna spend any regardless if she has any.

I think that is right but I think in the summer 2 launch there are adding a 50 cent charge for whip cream that seems slightly more reasonable than the 3 dollars but I hope you don’t get yelled at

If they do add a charge to whip, u kno people are still guna ask for it at the hand off area or to the person on bar in general and all chaos and confusion will ensue

NO! XD I know about the cold foam going away and the stupid new “Line the cup” modifier but I didn’t read anything today about whip charge?

Pardon me but ummm... As someone who has not read the summer 2 launch yet, did you really mean 'cold foam going away'?

Standard Cold Foam (nonfat and vanilla) is being discontinued.

Supposedly because of the confusion it causes people trying to order Vanilla Sweet Cream Foam.

Just tell her anything more than 4oz needs a charge (idk if that’s still policy but sounds right haha)

Just give it to her. Corp. won’t lose out. Hopefully she tips once in a while.
