Yes color appropriate flats with a closed toe would be fine. However be careful bcus the tops of your feet can get burnt by hot liquids.

they should make sure every store is well ventilated and cool if they want to adhere strictly to wearing such dark colors + modest clothing and shoes while also hovering over a steam wand or beside an oven for 9 hours
