I hate making those "keto" pink drinks. Venti passion tea, with sugar free vanilla, ex splash of heavy cream and some of them get it with strawberry pieces and cinnamon powder. It smells curdled lol. And it tastes so gross 🤢

We have a regular(super sweet lady and tips well so we go with it) she gets a
Grande caramel crunch frap
Extra pump of frap roast
Oat milk
Venti scoop of ice
In a trenta cup
Extra whip on top layered with honey and 4 ristretto affagato shots (those who don’t know her she fully explains she wants whip honey 2 shots, more whip more honey last 2 shots) and caramel sugar topping still.
She comes in only at night thankfully

When the kiwi starfruit launched, someone ordered the star drink with guava juice and all the fruit pieces (so strawberries, blackberries, kiwi, and dragon fruit). I think there was also honey blend in it. The color came out a puke pink and all the different fruit pieces definitely made it look like vomit. The person had mobile ordered it and clearly had no clue what it looked like cause the look on their face when I handed their drink to them was one of utter disgust. None of us wanted to try it, it looked so gross.

Remember that one weird Hocus Pocus concoction from a couple years back…? From what I remember, it was some sorta cream based Frappuccino with I think dragon berries (or maybe blackberries?) with I think some other sweet flavored syrup and it was topped off with matcha powder AND golden ginger powder… it. was. STOOPID.

I have this lady who orders an iced venti mocha, extra mocha drizzle, cold foam, chocolate malt powder, heavy cream, extra mocha, extra white mocha, 10 pumps of classic, and claims it tastes just like "chocolate milk". She comes often and apologizes.
I've tried it, I feel you could do a lot fewer ingredients and still get chocolate milk. Also, it has a syrupy consistency.

The damn cold brew smoothies. They used a date paste to be sweetened. Everyone hated them, so you'd have to make them another drink cause they were so gross.

I ordered this today to use up stars about to expire. It came in two venti cups. Yes I know my barista hated me. I'm on the second one now while on my break at a baseball field. I've slept 8 hours in the last 2 days and worked like 18 with three more to go

I did feel bad for them. I try to make my free drinks as expensive as possible and never rush or make them feel rushed so they can deal with other people first. I try to let them know that as well. Half of it is still in my fridge. I got out of work at 11pm after standing for almost 7 hours straight with a friendly smile on

It’s cool that you try to keep it low pressure, but the only thing that would redeem you as a customer would be a big tip. Like at least a five dollar tip. Especially since you’re not paying for the drink, and you already know it’s a huge fucking pain in the ass.

Additionally, I really hope you don’t badger the barista to get every drop out of the blender, since you mentioned “two venti cups”. A lot of customers seem to think that they are paying for whatever volume ends up in the blender when they create these frap abominations - this is not true, regardless of how expensive it is or how entitled the customer feels. You pay for what’s in the cup, not what’s in the blender.

Oh, no. 100% not me. I literally mentioned how I was just trying to take advantage and had ended up with an abomination. I expected them to be like "we can't fit all that in a cup" and I would have told them to do whatever but instead she mentioned two cups so I was just like "...okay 😅". I'm a super anxious person so I always order in the app. Stand there in the store ordering in the app bc I don't have the strength to order in person without risking a panic attack over the decisions. So I make abominations sometimes and don't fret about what I do get.
One time, somewhere else, I ordered a normal espresso frap with whip near the end of the day after I got off an exhausting shift at another job (I was the only closer when supposed to have at least three) and was chatting with the two baristas about having customer service jobs, crap days when short staffed, and the like. The one started to hand me the drink without whip then pulled it back like "wait you wanted whip cream" and I was just like "haha seriously it's fine. A bit healthier this way" but he refused and said I deserved the treat after my day. He poured a bit into a small cup and put whip cream on both. It was adorable and hilarious (and yes I left a large tip in the app after that). Made my night getting to talk to them
