I had something similar happen except I swear I didn't cuss. I was leading the shift and it was a really rough shift cause we had a customer that was really being a Karen but it was fine and we were short staffed for most of it with a trainee. There was a lot to do and we were all a little frustrated cause this customer was bitching about every task we were doing because she "had to work". Well apparently someone called corporate that night and said I was allowing people to cuss and was cussing myself. I got a final writeup for that when I've literally never had a write up for anything and stuck with the company when most shifts only had 3 people the whole time. So that felt kinda disrespectful so I quit. I left the company with only 1 other night shift that didn't have a reliable ride to work and most of night crew quit with me. Oh also my manager didn't want us to say night shift or morning shift cause it "creates division".

never realized how stressful this job was until i didnt have it. ive spent the past two days doing things i like doing and seeing people i never have time to see, and tbh im happy they blacklisted me

I'm not even sure if I'm on the rehirable list but I don't even care cause this job really is more stress than it's worth. It really is such a difference after being gone for a while. Especially since they've been expecting so much from us. Like I was doing the jobs of 2-3 people at least every shift while doing shift stuff, training, and whatever else my manager said to do

tldr i said “i fucking hate them” to my coworker, didnt realize they could hear bc we were away from the dt window and i had muttered it.
they were upset about a drink, i offered to remake it, they said no blah blah blah we went back and forth, they were yelling at me, asking me to “do my job right” so i just walked away and made the fucking drink. i had my coworker hand it out bc i didnt wanna further the situation but they did end up throwing the drink on the building / into the gutter.

My SSV used to jokingly call me a “stupid bitch” all the time… they’re very much so still employed. Another SSV at my store has gotten complaints from nearly every barista at the store and multiple customers about how they actively bully baristas (and no it’s not coaching). The DM has had to talk them multiple times now. Many people have quit because of them. They are also still very much so employed! The kicker with them is that they are absolutely bad at their job and everyone knows it and they are not well liked by anyone in the store (SM included) and the DM hates them as well so it’s a mystery as to how they still have a job.

This happened to me I didn’t get fired but I definitely have had other co workers curse up a storm on the floor. I do feel like the customers who snitch do it because they don’t like certain baristas. Fuck them sorry you got fired before you got to leave
