They probably did ½ green tea and ½ peach. It’s supposed to be ½ gt, ¼ pe and ¼ water.
Edit: my store just got peach back after about a week of not having any. And the juice is noticeably darker now. So it’s possible they changed the recipe and now it’s a sweeter concentrate.

This is what I suspect happened.. the ratio was off and it was almost all peach juice. It’s just disappointing because every time I order from Starbucks something’s made incorrectly or tastes bad so I only ever enjoy anything if I make it myself. It’s like quality has 0 priority. Which would be fine if it wasn’t so expensive

If you were around when peach infusion was prepped with a tea satchet as your last memory, life has changed.
They now supply pre-made Peach "Juice" in cartons that are readily poured into the drinks. The flavor is sweeter with some unpleasant after-taste.

They probably did it as like peach with tea instead of tea with peach. That’s a common problems with that drink at my store.
