My coworkers and I are trying to figure out the difference and everyone has said different things. I just want to settle it on here I appreciate the help!

They’re literally the same thing. The Medicine Ball was its former menu name many years ago, then they changed it to “Honey Citrus Mint Tea.”
Ingredients:
1 bag jade citrus mint 1 bag peach tranquility
Half hot water, half steamed lemonade
Honey packets (honey blend pumps according to size)
Customers made it as a “secret menu” item eons ago, then Sbux added it to the menu as an actual item.

So there's nothing different when it comes to the recipe? Some of us put peppermint or honey blend in the tea.
Edit: thanks for clarifying I appreciate it!

Baristas originally made up the recipe and it got popular as a “secret menu” item called the medicine ball. When it was added to the real menu, it became the HCMT because you can’t call things medicine that aren’t medicine. Same drink.

No. Never peppermint. Also, there’s an app for this. Go to the “Store Resources” app and select the page for recipes. There, you can see all beverage recipes there. Please inform and educate your coworkers utilizing the official tools. That’s pretty horrific that they don’t know how to look up a standard core menu item’s recipe.

We're a licensed store on a military base, it's kinda hard for us to find any of the updated stuff. I don't think we have the same system that corporate stores use 😬 We have recipe cards for our core stuff but we don't have a resources app.

Huh, that’s scary that Sbux doesn’t properly equip you with this.
You can also find beverage recipe cards on the partner hub webpage. Type in the drink name into the search bar and you’ll have to scroll through until you find it, but I’ve don’t that a few times as well.

It’s actually a big legal issue since it has no medicinal properties.

they’re the same

A pump of peppermint was optional when it first came out on the secret menu website and was called the cold buster.
