ive always been told not to do that, as well as at any retail store you arent allowed to use a gift card to buy a gift card so im not sure why that lady was saying that

that’s what i thought as well. i was pretty sure when she had said it that she was just saying it to either guilt me or there was a misunderstanding of some sort. glad to know i’m not the only one

What we do it ALL THE TIME. That is sooo weird. You go to reload amount, scan gold card, tender with gift card.

dang really? for us reloading it (the way she wanted it done, she didn’t want to make a separate “purchase”) is only possible using cash or card (debit or credit) i told her that and she was like “i don’t want another purchase i want it all on the same one” and i was like that’s not possible with the way the system works i’m sorry but she wasn’t having it.
the way she reacted was too much, especially since technically i’m not allowed to (i asked my shift later in the day and they told me) and cause it was 7 am on a sunday and i’m a teenager and she’s a grown woman who is completely capable of reloading on her own.
i get that if a service is available youd want to use it but also if that’s not possible then maybe take it upon yourself, yk.

yeah you can do it you just have to know exactly how much is on the app and then pay for it on the tener screen.
they can also do it on the app, they can just add a new gift card on the top right where they pay and then they can also merge two gift cards together in that section

She was given a gift card and wanted that transfered to her gold card? Definitely allowed and definitely do able if I'm understanding this post correctly. If she tried using her Visa via the app, then no that doesn't work.
