Hi question about decaf Frappuccinos.(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by GrayCera12
So I always have customers ask me to make their decaf Frappuccinos. For instance, had a customer ask for a decaf caramel frappuccino. I know you add decaf shots, but how many for each cup size? I heard it’s 1/2/3 (T/G/V) or 1/1/1. I’ve been trying to look at the official modification for this, but I can’t find it. I’ve worked at Starbucks for almost 2 years and it’s still a mystery. 😅

I believe it’s 1/2/3 for decaf frappuccinos, but 1/1/1 for regular espresso frappuccinos, which might be where the confusion comes from!

i may be the wildcard here by doing 1/2/2

Nah I heard 1/2/2 as well!

I have always done 1/1/1 but that could definitely be wrong

thats for espresso frappucinos (in addition to frap roast). decaf ones get 1/2/3 (increasing amount of coffee per size similar to the frap roast in normal ones).

I have never done it that way but that makes a lot of sense. Thank you!

1/2/3 so that you get more coffee flavor with more sizes, just like you do by adding another pump of frap roast to larger sizes
the espresso frap gets regular pumps of frap roast plus 1 shot of espresso across all sizes, which is where some people get \~confused\~

this is correct

Is there not a recipe book or a software for these things?

Honestly I’m not sure. I tried looking for answers in the recipe cards or on my store’s computer. But couldn’t find anything.

Try typing decaf Frappuccino in the search bar in partner hub
