it doesn’t come with a raise but a bonus with every person you train. and it would also help ur case in becoming a ssv !! i would go for it (:

the bonus depends on your store/district (at mine it’s $60 per trainee) but you have got to be a SUPER patient person, every person learns at a different speed. i’ve had trainees pick things up relatively quickly (obviously they aren’t gonna know everything right away) but others it was just having to constantly explain the same thing over and over and over again.
it’s really nice to not have to really talk to customers (except when training on register or drive thru) and just focus on training but it is also super exhausting, i’ll train someone for 4 hours and feel like i’ve worked 20 hours straight.
it also looks good when applying for SSV! i recently just got promoted to SSV

you get about $50 after tax for every barista you train. I like it because it gives me a chance to get to know and vibe check all the green beans. If you have patience and enjoy helping people, I'd say do it!
