not sure about the glasses but I always used a clipboard to cover my face when the sun was shining hard, but a hat helps too.
When customers see me struggling with the clipboard they are usually nicer😂

Sunglasses are not against dress code anywhere so it’s fine

just try it. if they say something get some transitions. they can't prevent you from wearing your prescription lenses.

I say sure, my store always had sunglasses near the drive thru because we had a white counter in the drive thru and at certain parts of the day it would hurt so much to be looking at the person in the drive thru because everything was reflecting right into your eyes.

If your SM or DM says no then just let your eyes water and look like you’re gonna die, and then wait for a customer to ask if you’re ok. When the customer asks, say “I am not allowed to wear sunglasses but if you think I should be able to not look and feel like death, feel free to call my district manager, oh here’s the DMs card, I just happened to have like 5 copies it in my apron”

I buy fun sunglasses to leave near the window for our partners! customers love the fun sunglasses and it sometimes gets us better tips :)
