I know it doesn’t look complicated, but trying to fit it all into the cup… plus the froth of the shaken-ness… 🤦🏽‍♀️ What would you have done? (i.redd.it)

I would have given them normal ice it’s not like they can tell the difference

Pretty sure that’s what my coworker ended up doing that… as long as it’s on the stickers they’ll think it’s extra 🤦🏽‍♀️😝

looks like someone’s getting an inch of espresso

Little tiny bit of salted foam, if they're being specific about the ice and milk then the foam must be the one that gets sacrificed. I usually pour foams into shaken espressos a little high and then I scrape the excess and "espresso bubbles" off with the lid I'll be using, similar to when you scrape whip off of a drink.

I'd try to minimize the foam by a)shaking it less b)scooping out the foam c)strain out the drink with the shaker lid and add new ice if it's still not enough ice. These are the things that i do when people order a shaken espresso with no foam.

People have been asking for extra ice a lot more, so I've just been putting their drink in a trenta cup so they can have their extra ice
