Literally every time i mention to a parent the drinks have caffeine my shift jumps in to say "BUT NOT A LOT A VERY SMALL AMOUNT!!!!!!!!" like bro of course its less than an espresso shot but it still affects the tiny kids getting ventis of this shit?? I feel like its definitely management wanting to sell more so they arent transparent about it, which is wrong to do. There could be any reason a parent wouldnt wamt their kids having caffeine at all, esp in these drinks that are loaded with sugar...

I don’t tell them because people get defensive but I also wonder if they know. The amount of caffeine in a refresher won’t harm a kid and like plenty of kids have the occasional coke or whatever so it’s possible the parents are aware but I’m curious how many people give their 5 year old a pink drink then wonder why bedtime is a challenge.
