Three scheduled closes with just a shift and barista?? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Is this normal? We usually have 3 and it sucks taking down the whole store with just two people.

It depends on your store. Both locations that I've worked at have only had one barista + the shift for closing. I've never had more than one barista for a close.

Even for cleanplays only two?

I've honestly never done a cleanplay. I left way before those were a thing (we used to have to do all the deep cleaning during regular hours, they were called "weekly tasks") and now I mostly work early mornings, but have covered a couple closing shifts. I think for cleanplays they have more people.

we usually have someone that helps preclose. we close at 9 and that person usually stays from anywhere between 8-9. and then i close with one other barista and a shift. it’s normal for me. but sometimes we have 2 baristas + me and a shift
