I work at a licensed store. I am a closer most nights (4pm-8pm) and I have a coworker who often pre-closes (2pm-6pm). We are given a set list of tasks to complete at set times, one for closers and one for pre-closers. Easy enough right? Lately, this guy has been slacking on his tasks and asking me for help saying it has been "busy" but he literally just stands around and talks. I've talked to management several times but nothing comes of it, saying all I need to do is focus on closing. My hours are being increased (2pm-8pm) and therefore he continues to try and get me to help him with pre-closing.
