I “love” it when they come in complaining about how long the drive thru line is and expect it to go faster in the cafe. It’s still the same people working with the same constrictions. And likely (at least at our store) understaffed and bombarded with mobile orders.

Or the people that come in the café on Sundays and scream at you bc they’re late for church. Like Karen you should’ve come earlier for your stupid drink. And then those are the same people that treat service workers like trash but act like angels in the pews 👼🏻😅

My store doesnt have a drive thru but some lady came in store to order at the register one time and i promise on everything she wasnt even waiting 5 minutes and she starts complaining and i explain that the drink she got takes a bit of time but that theres also a queue of drinks with mobile orders, cafe orders and delivery orders. And that there are people that ordered before her. Her response was "i don't care, it shouldnt take that long".....like just cuz u see a small amount of customers in store doesnt mean we're not slammed. Thats what people think tho...if they go into a store and see only 3 to 5 people waiting, they assume it should be quick since they dont see too many people. No, we have mobile orders and delivery orders and in store orders too. Some orders might be s ton of drinks for one order. They dont kno. But they complain cuz to them, if they see under a certain number of people, then it must not be busy lol

I had to cut a barista early one time because their mother came in 40 min before the end of their shift screaming to get in the car because they had fresh fish. I was like just go dude.
