i know baristas are getting a raise to be paid $15 an hour august 1st. what about shift supervisors? i saw it was 5% pay increase but that doesn’t seem right. most of the baristas at my store make around $12 per hour right now, and i make $15.24. does this mean they would make $15 and i would make $16??

ssv have to make 27% more than base pay. if base pay is exactly $15.00 that means ssvs will be making $19.05

no im pretty sure ssvs will be making around $18-19. usually they get the 5% increase OR the increase to 18-19, whichever is higher

If im in California and make 15.50 am I getting a raise? Or not bc its already 15?

In the documents, it says 15 or 3%, whichever is higher. So you will get the 3% raise

This is for some tenured partners that are already at or above 15. I think not tenured is 3% raise if they're at or above the $15.

i don’t know? i would assume so because it seems unfair for everyone else to get one and not certain states because their minimum wage is already raised. but maybe not because maybe it’s about making all of our pay equal to the states that already have it raised? i have no idea tbh, but i’m sure your SM knows whether or not you guys get one or someone else on here probably knows better than i do

They're not being fair with the raises, at all. My shift and I are both getting screwed. I make over starting now and I'll be making min/starting in August. With her, she makes above what the new shift min will be so she'll only get her tiny tenure raise. It's super messed up, if you ask me. And I'm very unhappy about it.
