partner discount for mobile orders (self.starbucksbaristas)

hey has anyone tried their partner number on the mobile order in the app? or are we only able to do this in store purchases? I have my partner card on the app but I can't get the discount to apply. can anyone help me with the steps ? thank you!

Log into your app account on starbucks.com in a web browser (desktop version is easiest). Go to account, then personal info, and you’ll see the option at the bottom to add your partner number (below your address and birthday). You might have to restart or log out and into the app for the change to take effect.

also when we come on front and ask to apply a partner discount or market do we just show our partner card? or does the barcode we have already do it?or do we need to tell the barista we are doing a discount or markout

Scanning your app should cause a popup to appear on the register with your name and partner number, and then the person on register should be able to press “yes” to apply the discount. I usually say “I have my partner numbers on my app” before scanning so they know what to expect
