Love when people ask for extra meat/cheese/egg and don't take "sorry we can't do that, it's premade" for an answer

If you want to pay for two sandwiches I'd be more than happy to throw the extra patty onto one sandwich

It’s not like Starbucks goes out of their way to make sure customers know the breakfast sandwiches all come frozen in plastic bags. Similar stores like Dunkin let people customize food. I can’t blame them. (It’s still funny when people ask for tomato or ketchup and mustard though)

Honestly I blame Starbucks, they allow ridiculous modifications on beverages, why would customers know the food is any different

The lack of knowledge is fine. Almost all of them will go oh that's fine when you tell them they're premade. It's the very small percentage of people who still push for something after you've told them that are the issue.

Ay my old store we used to get “I’ll take the double smoked bacon on an everything bagel.”

i had someone want extra pesto on a turkey pesto sandwich and they were not happy when i told them i literally could not put more on it

I had a lady come through the DT and ask for a sausage and egg with the double the patty meat so we told her that we would have to charge her for two sandwiches. She then said ok but for the second one give me extra meat also and we again tood her we will hve to charge her for 4 sandwiches and this woman thought we had a whole kitchen and restaurant shit goin on inside like bruh

I had someone ask for sausage and bacon on a sandwich. I was like, the only way I could do that was if you bought both at full price. It is premade, I am in a KIOSK. THERE IS NO BACK ROOM KITCHEN!

Someone asked if I could add some basil and tomato to her sandwich. A guy asked for a cup of water with fresh lemon and ginger- I just don’t understand why.

I don’t get annoyed per say… I mostly just giggle because it’s one of those “I’m a barista so I could do it for myself, but unless you want to pay for both sandwiches, it’s a no from me.”

I don’t think the average customer realizes how shitty starbucks food is. Like brother you’re getting a jimmy dean sandwich and if you don’t want it how it is simply go to somewhere that actually makes breakfast.

In Kentucky we constantly get asked for grape jelly with sandwiches and when I tell them sorry no they're still visibly confused/upset

Out of all the things, this doesn’t bother me much. I live in New England where there’s a dunkin on every corner, so I assume most people are used to being able to customize and they just don’t know that Starbucks doesn’t

i bet you, due time, we’ll have to start customizing food. we’ll start adversiting like “build your own breakfast sandwich!”

No, most don't know they're premade and I've only gotten "no meat(or)cheese" which is so easy to do and we don't have a lot of vegetarian options. No problem at all.
