Tall rant that could very well be a trenta rant (self.starbucksbaristas)

I am so tired of being put in bad situations and then people being disappointed by the outcome. I’m a very new shift and I’m bending over backwards with callouts and various things going wrong. I’ll never get to actually show my ability as a shift because I’m never given a clean slate to work with. I love my job but I’m so sad. Any advice for shifts at all would be appreciated (callout, breaks, organization, anything)

I like to start my shift by CS especially in no one is on CS. Making sure there are cups, lids, milks, etc...

Also if starting on register, ask teammates if we are out of anything. Repeating the customers order back to them exactly before you charge them. The letting customers know for more than 10 minutes behind ...

Communicating with your team asking them if they're out of any cups lids etc need help when you have a moment
