Well at least when I tried because I was visiting family, they said it would be too much paperwork because you basically have to get a transfer approved. Taxes and pay and stuff are different usually.

No. Typically you aren't even allowed to pick up shifts from another district, let alone a completely different region or area

Probably not. Last I knew (covid stopped me from being a borrowed partner all over the place, so I guess I may have old info), working outside your Area was basically banned--it causes headaches and paperwork for managers to get you paid properly. So if your Area includes multiple states, it may be fine. Or if this has changed without my knowledge, possibly. But you should absolutely get permission from your manager.

It depends on the store and for how long, I have a partner at my store now whos on break from school and was able to transfer here for the summer.
This is a full transfer though, rather than just being borrowed.
