They give you their safe code and key and you do the cash management by clicking “borrowed partner”

Ask the supervisor who gives you the keys.

Make sure you ask how they set up their tills and safe. Walked into an open as a borrow partner and they kept $75 less in each drawer and $300 more in the safe and I was like WTF??

You’ll be ok. I have long since passed that time in my career that I volunteer to work at other stores. Haha. I did it for a long time, though. Even if it’s a sucky close, they’ll look at the night before, see you were a borrowed partner, and then just write it off.
