not sure if this goes for all stores, but if my manager noticed one of our team members in that situation he’d probably just not allow that customer into the store once the behavior was repeated a couple times.

hello, ssv here! we had a similar situation at my store just this week, with a minor barista and much older customer as well. my team and I successfully got him banned for doing a lot less to our partner than the guy in your post has done to you. I would suggest asking your shifts to file incident reports every time you see him and he is creepy towards you (it took us two incident reports to get our harasser banned) and tell your manager exactly what you wrote out! we want you to feel safe and protected at all times! sending support and hugs 🫶🏻 may that fucking idiot be banned from every sbux in your district 🥳

I would ask your shift that was there and your SM about filing an incident report and getting him banned from the store.

No you can say exactly that. Before you know it (god forbid )he will be following you after work or waiting for you to clock out. Screw that make him feel violently uncomfortable next time

This. We don’t have to be nice to these people once they’ve crossed that line.

Do not go to your car unaccompanied. And call the police if you see him near you outside the store. Don’t be nice

Get your shifts involved. An incident report should be filed. As a shift, I'd make sure you never had to deal with him again.
We recently had a man in his 30s hitting on one of our minors who was at register. Didn't notice at first, but as soon as I did, I told the minor to go to the back, and I slid over from bar. He was like what's that about. And I looked him in the eye and said, "oh they're a ***MINOR*** and have to have a break". Haven't seen him since. Asked the minor what else he said. If I had heard all the convo, I would have bounced his ass so fast, everyone in the store would have gotten whiplash. Went around to all the minors (it was the first job for all of them)in the store and made sure that they knew that no customer has the right to make them uncomfortable. If they don't feel comfortable telling the person to stop/leave, come get me. I'll shut shit down for them. It can be anything from being hit on, racist remarks, anything making you uncomfortable breaks 3rd place and they can be told leave.
I hope you don't have to deal with him again.

We had a guy who was hitting on a minor at my store, it didn’t get nearly this bad, but it was still inappropriate and making her extremely uncomfortable, rightly so. My SM spoke to him and told him it needed to stop, and it did. In this case he was just being a creepy old man, but I don’t think he ever intended to do more than flirt. Obviously this is still not okay, but since he backed off he was not banned. However that doesn’t mean we aren’t all on alert when he’s in the store.

Anyway, in your case, definitely speak with your SM, and like the others here stated it would not be unfounded to file an incident report. But I think you have grounds to get him banned.

I am sorry this is happening to you. It’s not okay. I am so glad you have a team of people looking out for you ❤️

Please go to your Store Manager. Talk to them and explain what's going on and how he makes you uncomfortable. If they don't do anything, go to your district manager.
