after peak my shifts always comes up to each one of us and says “you did great, nice job with sequencing”. A lot of my coworkers will bring in food for all of us as well with a cute note. And on each one of our birthdays everyone from the store writes on a card and gives balloons to whosever birthday it is. It’s honestly the little things that matter

me and my partners go watch movies, go somewhere to eat, or just hang out somewhere after closing and we would always invite green beans to come w us & its a really good bonding experience to break the ice! its actually so nice to hang out with them outside of work so you really get to know them. during shifts, we try to notice things we did very well on and tell each other we did a good job and just be nice. sometimes if i notice someone having a bad day or just frustrated, i go up to them and see if they are doing ok and check up on them & vice versa. my partners at this specific store made me love working at starbucks! shifts and managers are genuinely so chill & nice, they really do always help when we need it. one of my shifts would buy us food sometimes just because she felt like it, we all take shots at the same time before shift starts just for that extra boost. like the other user said its the little things!
