How should we reward employees? Praise, time off, cash, gift card, swag, etc...(self.starbucksbaristas)

I want to build a tool that helps recognize employees who go the extra mile on a shift (work when it's understaffed, take on an extra job, or clean something gross) - how do you like to be recognized / rewarded? Praise? Time off? Cash? Gift card? Swag?

Money, gift cards to their favorite places, or PTO. Company swag is kind of a slap in the face because you could just give them the cash value instead.

LOL this is like some opposite Maslow’s hierarchy stuff. Sure, praise is GREAT. However, we make no money at SB, so praise isn’t gonna pay the bills.
