I was just charged 3.25 for a cake pop at target in IL. Usually it’s cheaper. Was I ripped off? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Different areas have different prices. Also, corporate and license Starbucks are different. Sometimes Starbucks itself raises prices.

Illinois has a tax on food that is shaped/made to look like non food items. The Unicorn cake pop would have that tax. If you didn't order the Unicorn one, then you probably were mistakenly rang up for it.
