Just wanted to share a couple of my sins…
1. Now that the iced espresso card has been standardized; I make them wrong (shots then ice— this should be the standard)
2. A customer forgets to pay for something? Oh well you get it for free now. You still want to pay? Well that $4.75 ham and cheese croissant will probably give me like 2cents of my paycheck, if that, so I don’t care, you can have it for free.
3. Same thing with tips on a card reader— I give the real explanation of no we don’t have them, yes we are supposedly going to but that is for Starbucks to prove that they will stick to their word and actually follow through on.
4. I blend as many Frappuccinos together if I can. Java chip and Mocha Cookie? Let’s go in together.
6. Some chai’s are a bit more watery and some are a bit more creamy. You want a 39 second drive time SM, you get what you get. Also sorry bout your somewhat foamy mocha………….
7. I use the fake magic eraser on like everything.

Edit: so do a lot of people in my store. Sorry this sucks for a lot of you but until our “elbow grease” and blue scrub actually work to get the stains that have developed, I will continue using the fake eraser. I’ve even used a blue one on a new container that had been used once and it was absolutely useless to clean. Also I’ve literally watched people bleach containers at other stores, so they are less stained. We all have our sins. If this one bothers so many of you, maybe finding another SOLUTION then beating people down would be more helpful (I’ll search too). Yes I have actually used a blue scrubby. I’m not a dumb ass, and I try to make my dishes clean, but they don’t freaking work for me. I’m not weak either, I put my entire body into that shit.

My sm taught me how to batch 3 ventis using a dome lid to keep the top of the blender pitcher on 😂😂 I love my sm

pro tip: shaker lids are more stable, you just have to put it upside down on top of the blender lid

My sm made me throw away 4 COMPLETED java chips after she watched me batch blend two grandes per blender because she is evil… she even batch blends herself but apparently i’m not allowed to lol

one day during peak i was on cold bar bc we were thag busy. and an asshole regular came through and wanted 9 double chocolate chip fraps. i go to batch them together and my store manager verbally berates me and forced me to make each one separately. all while being 5 drinks behind in drive thru.

his fraps may have been a lil salty from my TEARS. i walked off the floor after that and said good luck i’m taking a break. it was in my two weeks notice so i didn’t care much after that point.

a mocha cookie and a Java chip right in a row, you say? twins. toss em in.

a caramel and a caramel ribbon back to back? now they’re intertwined in the blender. Oops.

three venti vanilla beans? That’ll fit. Gimme ☻

It’s my job to maximize our beverage output in the most efficient way possible and I will do so by minimizing the amount of empty space in that there blender ☻

thank GOD our sm was rarely around bc everyone batch blended. no way i would’ve made them all separate if she wasn’t there.

also the man made me REMAKE THEM bc they weren’t good enough. his wife apologized the next day and left a heavy tip. she was lovely. husband? he can bite me.

It's summer here in Florida all friggin' year round. 😅 Only difference is that it gets just a bit hotter and we get more brats coming in to order frappuccinos. The rest of the time it's over-coddled adults ordering highly customized frappuccinos.

I agree with the sentiment of not making people pay for things but I def make them pay when they’re pissing me off. You want to have an attitude w me bc you didn’t get cream cheese that you didn’t ask for at the register? You can go stand in that long ass line and pay $0.90 for it 🖕🏾.

If you put the grande dome lid upside down right in the center of the little circle, it should prop against the blender's cover and hold the lid down. You gotta be really precise with the ice and milk levels though, 3 Ventis is the absolute max you can get without spillage. I recommend trying it when you have extra time to clean just in case.

IK. That’s why it’s a sin. Don’t worry I extra spray and sanitize then Hobart to be safe but also bc most dishes we use are nasty

You’re purposely and actively releasing micro plastics into the back ups and the water supply. Spreading bacteria around the dishes. Swapping the magic eraser between the dishes and drains too I bet. Literally repulsive.

Y’all’s stuff is so dirty because the magic eraser is FIBERGLASS and rips apart the plastic containers leading to deep grooves that collect more stains and bacteria. It’s a vicious cycle and it’s disgusting. Y’all are drinking SO MUCH plastic. Good luck with your future cancer

“Spray” like the restroom cleaner ? Or spray like the rinser???? I’m so sorry that you choose to do dishes in the least food safe way possible.

It’s not getting your dishes cleaner- it’s actually the reason why your dishes are so dirty.

Doing dishes not food service safe puts you and your partners at risk. Just do it right- it’s not easier to do dishes wrong.

Batch 2 mocha fraps, pour one, pop some frap chips in the blender, blend again.

leaving out a 2% for a little bit doesn’t hurt anybody especially if you’re in the middle of a rush and constantly pulling it out for every drink. never understood sticklers for that tbh

Due to the way I was taught, I never make hot chai with water. In my mind adding water makes absolutely no sense, I know it's standard but I just can't force myself to relearn it anymore.

I pull several cups and stickers because it helps me to see what I have to make during rushes. If I don't and keep pulling stickers one drink after another it pushes me further and further towards a breakdown as I'm always on bar alone. I like to know what I'm working towards and seeing the end getting closer is a massive relief in my mind.

Please don’t do that with the chais. A lot of people track calories, or macros, or sugar, or fat intake. They assume what is posted in the app is standard and how we make it. Half a venti extra of milk is like 8 ounces which is enough to throw any of those things off for someone.
