Oh my god so im a store manager and a customer was being ridiculous with my barista and she was being condescending and rude so we had her pull around to bring her order out. We'll I was like bet let me get in the line of this liquid fire. Well I get out there and the first thing she says is that she's sure the incompetent girl made her drinks wrong, so I do the whole pony show of reassuring her and she's shoots off one more snippy comment about my barista and says she's never coming back and I looked her in the face and immediately no hesitation said "okay sorry to lose ya, have a good one" and left!

once a woman asked me to check the balance on her giftcard and the system wouldn’t let me because it wasn’t activated yet and she just kept saying “i just got this card from my girlfriend” (and she meant girlfriend in the middle aged woman way) and i was like. i’m not saying it doesn’t have money on it but i can’t tell you how much until you buy something? and she eventually is like never mind i’ll find someone else like??? LMAO so she happens to walk over to my shift lead at the bar and my boss pretends to check the balance while secretly ringing up a water or whatever to placate this woman. then later my shift lead was like “i’m so sorry about that lady. she called you a little girl.” like ma’am i’m 27 and my shift lead is 22 😭 sorry i didn’t age at lightning speed like you did from being rude to customer service workers!

you actually can just check a balance, it’s a small button underneath the activate / reload buttons. :)

no, i check balances on cards all the time! it was one of the cards where you can't do that, i don't know the details but my shift lead confirmed that those ones she gave me are sold in bulk and work differently.

I had this regular that got an attitude with me and I tried to calm it down a bit but she wasn't having it so I walked away to make her stupid liquid and she got mad that I walked away and started complaining about me to the nearest person and then she said I just won't be coming back which by then I lost my cool and very loudly said sounds good to me.
Haven't seen her since and she works next door. We do not miss her or her tall caramel frap with extra caramel
