Is it a free drink only when you're working? Or anytime?

It’s supposed to be 30 mins before / after your shift and on your breaks during your shift. I’ve used my partner numbers at different stores and they’ve given me my free drink whichhhh I don’t mind hahaha but i always expect to pay for my drink if I didn’t work that day

That's what I thought, now I'm a green bean, and another partner came in the store and got annoyed that I wasn't giving her a free drink. She had the attitude of expecting not to pay. Like I'd love to give free drinks to every partner who comes in but i just started and don't know how lenient the policy (or my store is) with it.

Been with the company for 3 years. There is no cap on the free drinks but they are only free when you are working and 30 min before and after your shift.
