i have a weird question. i started working at starbucks in september 2019 and left in june 2020 when covid ramped up really bad in my area. i was rehired in november 2020 so i had an "official" one year anniversary in november 2021 but should i count my time from sept. 2019- jun. 2020 in my time as a partner as well?
asking because my boss just handed me a 3 year pin and said congratulations so like i'm just confused.

Benefits wise, your time starts from when you are rehired. But wear the 3 year pin proudly. You certainly put in the time.

Not sure. Though you’ve pretty much have put in three years so I get why they gave you the three year pin. I would look at your hire date in the partner self service to see if that would be helpful. I have continuous service with the Bux so I don’t have experience with it. Hopefully someone out there who has been rehired can answer it better than I have.
