Anyone think the drinks kinda gross? Tastes very chemical-ly. We were messing with the drink to what actually works & sweet cream is the only thing that kills that weird taste.

tbh im a barista but the only way its… drinkable is when it’s modified. so i feel like this is completely acceptable for this drink😭

This is the best and only way I’ll drink it. It took my coworkers and I about 30 minutes of experimenting with this dang drink before we found something remotely palatable, and it was as blended with syrups and whip lol. The base is truly disgusting

we need a cream base button!!! even if we don’t charge, we need it for inventory 🙃 ig you could always do a syrup cream frap + add the refresher…but then it’s a lot of up charges that will make it way more expensive than it should be

so far i’ve found the only way that it’s good is with coconut milk and strawberry açaí base. it’s not that good on its own >.<

This is basically completely irrelevant to the thread, but I think that Starbucks HQ is out to get me. Back when I worked as a barista, I used to joke about the fact that I couldn’t have large swathes of the menu (I’m gluten free because I have Celiac Disease), but at least I could have most of the drinks. I was reminded of that when the chocolate malt powder was introduced a couple months ago, but I didn’t think anything of it.

I feel like I’m being fucking targeted now, though. Why? Because I’m one of the few people on the planet that’s also allergic to fucking *passionfruit*. I’m pretty sure I’m being mocked by someone.

Our ASM did a sample this morning of a paradise drink with baya mango, defense up juice. It was tasty but it would be one hell of an expensive customer drink!

I had a pineapple refresher today that had mango base and strawberry base added, with 2 scoops of dragonfruit inclusions and 5 pineapple, and 13 total pumps of flavored syrup. they are already super customized 😅

I expected this when they said pineapple. Our baristas were immediately on the case trying to figure out the best way to make it as a mixer for pina coladas. 😂
