Hours Cut Across My District Because Sales Requirements Aren't Being Met (self.starbucksbaristas)

Exactly what the title says, everyone's hours are being cut because stores aren't meeting their sales requirements. I find this to be a bullshit way to pick up the slack especially being that most of the time it isn't our fault, whether that be wonky hours because of renovations, to customers not being understanding of shortages. I'm lucky because I didn't get a giant cut but my coworkers were not so lucky, getting 5-10 hours cut off of their normal schedules and I'm sure its more of the same at other stores.
Starbucks Corporate let us know that this reduce will continue for about a month.

Our store is making approx +$3000 more than we used to, and our hours are being cut... I went from 35-40 hours a week to 16 hours a week...
We have almost $9000 days daily, when a month ago we were making $5000-6000 daily. We were given the exact same response, you're not meeting your sales goals..?!!?

I'm frustrated because my store is in the same boat, we are consistently over our sales goals but hours were cut across the district because as a whole the district is not where it should be in terms of sales. I'm not mad at the other stores because things go wrong all the time, like the new store that was built that has a 5:00pm closing because they aren't fully staffed and can't get new hires and the one that was just remodeled with a drive thru but no one there has drive thru experience. But it's frustrating to have everyone's hours cut mostly due to circumstances outside of our control.
