How do I get my partner card on the app (self.starbucksbaristas)

So I always see my colleagues use their partner card for our discount because it’s easier for both parties so I want to add mine so it can be used. Things is I have already found my card number but whenever I try to add it to my app, it says the card is invalid. Is there some link Im missing or a step?

go to starbucks.com , click account in the top right corner , and select personal info from the drop down menu- at the bottom of that page it should give you a spot to put in your partner number ! :)
