Are store managers still required to provide facial coverings not that it is optional?

Not sure that it’s required but at my store we make sure we have at least one box on hand.

I’m not 100% sure what you’re asking so I’m gonna answer a few things to the best of my ability assuming you’re US based.
Nationwide I don’t think masks are mandated for partners unless you’ve had a recent covid exposure, unless there is a local mandate, but you can still choose to wear one if you want.
If you’re required to wear a face mask by your manager or local mandate the store does have to provide it. I believe it’s an OSHA requirement that PPE/equipment required for the job be provided by the employer if you’re not a 1099 employee (we aren’t).
