curtis army (self.starbucksbaristas)

my store is the 1# busiest store out of multiple districts in our area, meaning we go through pitchers of refreshers almost immediately. to solve this, my store now uses other curtis’s (iced coffee thingys) for them. we literally have 4 in my store for iced coffee, strawberry açaí, mango dragonfruit, and lemonade (respectfully named curtis, sally, mary, and i don’t remember the one for lemonade) i’m just curious as to if any other stores have done this before??

my store also has two curtis’s! the district manager hasn’t said anything to us about taking it down even tho we shouldn’t have it! we have them labeled tho. one ice coffee and one strawberry açaí but we call her fruity curtis.

We were told we’re not allowed to do that. Something about the metal affecting the açaí

Lol i dont like our iced coffee cuz it has a weird metallic after taste. Is it because of the curtis?

we do it for our lemonade because we are also violently busy, but for our açaí and mango dragon we have carlisles

Oooo that’s not a great tbh. Lemon(ade) is acidic & when in a metal container it’ll def become metallic tasting

My husband's store uses the big toddy's for the cold brew for their strawberry açai and lemonade and says it works great. I've been trying to get my store to try it, but my DM isn't having it. e.e
