Toffee nut syrup flavor tastes…odd (self.starbucksbaristas)

Is it just me, or has toffee nut had a soapy-chemical like flavor as of late? Sometimes it tastes fine and normal, but other times it’s just almost undrinkable…which stinks because I love toffee nut.

Someone in your store might be cleaning the syrup pumps 🤷🏽♂️ ....with soap or chemicals

😬 great! One time It was so bad I went to a Starbucks down the road to fix it…and as a former partner I felt awful asking bc busy and all but like if I’m spending a lot of money on a drink, I don’t want to be drinking sani 🫠
