not after you memorize and practice the recipes

Some people take to it better than others. I find that adhd baristas are the ones who turn into bar stars really quick bc once you know you’re numbers barring requires zero executive function. Some people get overwhelmed and anxious though.

The learning curve is steep with all the recipes, and getting sequencing down takes time. But with practice and experience it will come. Just don't expect too much from yourself right away

No, with enough practice it gets easy, the only hard thing is that when you make the drinks and customers change it at the last possible second after it is made. I think someone ordering 5 fraps on drive when there is already a line is hard. Not that the drinks are hard, but it cant be done fast. So that tends to overwhelm us easily.

Honestly I just be free styling and then when I really don’t know I just ask. One time i made a hot Carmel macchiato upside down by accident and went “oh well they end up tasting the same anyways” and give it to the customer. They take a sip and say “tastes good” and go on their way. I give 0 fucks and it’s been working.

I’m just coming up on 2 fulls months of working 20-30 hours per week. I’d say I’m almost fully confident. In another month I should be there and it won’t be difficult anymore
