Hey everyone. I have my first shift at Starbucks in the UK tomorrow and was wondering if anyone else working there could answer a couple questions.
1. What would you recommend wearing for clothes and shoes? (are vans or converse okay?)
2. Do you get paid weekly or monthly?

I work at a starbucks in the UK and the dress code strictness is different for different stores but it's best to wear some black trousers (not jeans), black polo shirt and a black fleece !
I wear converse and as long as the shoes are all black it should be okay!
I get paid monthly, but again it could depend on store! It's best to double check all this with your manager too if you are unsure!

i wear slip on vans too work everyday never heard anything about it

I’m hoping the pay is the same here, I’ve heard it could be monthly tho 😩
