Hey guys! So I just applied to become a SSV after working for my store for about 8 months now. I just looked up the interview questions for SSV and I feel like there might be a lot more info I should be expected to know going into this. If anyone has any helpful tips or info that I should know, it was be SUUUUUPPERR appreciated!!

from my experience all of the questions they asked were from the questions from the partner hub, which were all experience related. take some time to think about stories and examples you’ve had with customers and coaching partners. when telling those stories always remember to say what you did and why you did it/ why it was important. if you’re talking about coaching a partner emphasize how you taught them WHY it was important they make the change, not just telling them how or what to do. and lastly just use the starbucks lingo as much as possible, tie in the store values, etc. good luck!

My interview was very personal experience related. I got asked questions about leadership moments, moments I shared with partner and customers, moments I taught somebody something and moments I was wrong and got taught something in turn. My biggest recommendation is always use named when talking about customers, even if you’re making them up. It makes your interviewer think you’re paying attention and asking custy’s their names every time.

Yeah same! I often went “Sarah- oh she gets um… a white mocha with a pump of caramel!” Just making it seem organic and friendly.

Also I would use company lingo as much as possible. Say “customer connection,” “creating the environment,” “the third place,” and “making the moment right” at least once.
