Im sorry but I just read 14 paragraphs on how you don't like being instructed in a workplace and somehow its about race/mean girls
Bruh. Fr?
I won't speak to racial dynamics cuz I ain't there so ill stick to the working relationship stuff.
Most jobs are going to ask you do stuff that's uncomfortable, you're learning a new system/job/skill and it's going to mean growing. Growth is rarely easy or painless.
Try and Check your ego at the door. Rember that you're working a retail/food service job, you're not going to have the best leadership, you're going to have teenage drama, stay out of the clicks mean girl crap and just do the job. The best skill you can bring to the job is a positive attitude and not taking shit personal from anyone. Customers or crew.
Shifts get frustrated and have a lot of other stressors going on in their daily duties that have little to do with you.
At the end of the day, someone's shitty attitude has very little to do with you, and everything to do with them.

Without being there to see the actual interaction, I can't call racism/not racism.
That said, this does read like any gender/race/nuerodivergent green bean's post. The thing I learned working for the siren is, there are A LOT of cliques and they are slow to let new people in (due to high turnover...why make friends if they're just gonna leave in a month?).
I've been in the food service industry longer than some of my coworkers (and some of my shifts) have even been alive. While some of them are rather maturity, a lot of them are simply "kids" because of their 'Mean Girls' mentality.

I feel like you might be reading to much into number 1, number 2 is very in appropriate on the shifts part and wether from racism or not should be reported, number 3 is very in appropriate as well from the shift and should be reported, number 4 just sounds like you were working when ovens needed to be done, I don’t exactly get why you didn’t feel comfortable with doing that.
