i’m a SSV & it’s just getting to be so much on me. at this point, old partners who have been there more than a year are dumber than the green beans. i just feel like i’m constantly doing everything for them & they’re used to it. it feels like i get paid to babysit my own coworkers some days. of course i know that “just one day doesn’t mean a bad life” but geez, it’s a lot lately. is anyone else feeling like this?

I have these days all the time. People can be frustrating. Try to remember that they’re human and address it as such. I have to remind myself all the time that I can’t be some omnipotent godhead and observe and do everything correctly all the time.
I’ve been a shift, an ASM and am now a SM at a licensed store. Managing people is the hardest part of being any of those positions and it gets easier - sometimes. Sometimes you will have those days where EVERYONE is chapping your ass. Your bosses and your employees. It’s so frustrating sometimes.
But you’ll keep adjusting and learning to deal with people, hl find new ways to get them to do things. Rephrase your wording or depending on the person - be more stern. Think your way out of that box.
