at one point it was so bad i intentionally started saying it back. 9/10 times people were like “oh, i didn’t want an oatmeal! i wanted the oat*milk* shaken espresso!” and i’d hit ‘em with the “oh my apologies! you said brown sugar oatmeal so i thought you wanted the food item!”

Yep. It's so bad that one time someone was trying to order "brown sugar oatmeal" and wouldn't you know I rang in a brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. They were very confused when they got it.

As long as I know what they mean, it’s honestly fine. Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is a lot to say and you never know if they have anxiety. :(

the one i had to turn off my mic to laugh was when someone in drive ordered a « strawberry ass lemonade »
